A Burlington, VT Weekend

In June 2006, Jay and I drove the 2.5 hours from Concord, NH to Burlington, VT. A very cute city, Burlington is filled with unpretentious Vermonters: hippies, jugglers, middle-aged bikers, and students with a very European/Charlottesville downtown area perfect for people-watching and strolling. On one side of the city is the University of Vermont, on the other is the lake. Jay and I ate too much, shopped a little, decided that my brother John would fit in excellently, took a boat ride, walked about, kayaked, and just in general had a good time. Also, we went on the Ben&Jerry's factory tour. MMMM MMMM!
